Our Story

Heart Mortgage was founded by Lee Dama, a Brazilian immigrant who arrived in the United States at age 19 with no money, no connections, and no roadmap, only a vision.
 
After spending more than two decades navigating the U.S. real estate and mortgage industry, Lee built Heart Mortgage to be the broker he wished he’d had when he first arrived: one that speaks your language, understands your situation, and treats homeownership not just as a transaction but as a life-changing milestone.

Today, Heart Mortgage Corporation (NMLS #2045769) serves clients across 10 U.S. states: Florida, Texas, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, South Carolina, North Carolina, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Georgia — from offices in Boca Raton and Orlando.

We specialize in serving the Brazilian-American community, immigrants with ITIN numbers, first-time homebuyers, and clients who feel underserved by traditional U.S. lenders. Our team of 11 licensed loan officers serves clients in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Taiwanese. Because financial decisions this important shouldn’t get lost in translation.
